WrapTap ("we," "our," or "us") operates the WrapTap platform, a marketplace connecting building owners, advertisers, and installers for building wrap advertising. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our website, application, and services (collectively, the "Service").

2. Information We Collect

Information you provide

  • Account information: name, email address, company name, and role (building owner, advertiser, or installer)
  • Building listings: addresses, photos, dimensions, pricing, surface details, and availability
  • Advertising creative and mockup images you upload
  • Campaign details, budget information, and targeting preferences
  • Communications you send through the platform
  • Payment information (processed by Stripe; we do not store card numbers)

Information collected automatically

  • Device and browser information (type, operating system, screen resolution)
  • IP address and approximate location
  • Usage data (pages visited, features used, timestamps)
  • Cookies and similar tracking technologies

Third-party data

  • Demographic data by geographic area (census data, consumer indices) used to enrich building listings
  • Traffic and impression estimates from third-party data providers
  • Information from authentication providers (Google) if you use social sign-in

3. How We Use Your Information

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
  • Facilitate the marketplace: match building owners with advertisers and connect installers for projects
  • Process transactions and send related notifications
  • Generate building visibility scores, impression estimates, and demographic overlays

4. Advertiser Privacy

We take advertiser privacy seriously. Advertiser identities and creative materials are kept confidential:

  • Advertisers browse building listings anonymously
  • Building owners see aggregated interest counts ("3 advertisers interested") but cannot see advertiser identities until both parties opt in
  • Creative materials are never publicly displayed and are only shared with matched parties after mutual consent
  • Advertiser campaign details and targeting preferences are never disclosed to other advertisers

5. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in these circumstances:

  • Matched parties: When both a building owner and advertiser opt in to connect, we share relevant contact and building information between them
  • Installers: When a project lead is generated, we share building and project details (not advertiser creative) with matched installers
  • Service providers: We use third-party services for hosting (Vercel), database (Supabase), payments (Stripe), email (Resend), and offline sync (PowerSync)
  • Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, legal process, or government request
  • Business transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets

6. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on servers in the United States via our infrastructure providers. We use industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS), encryption at rest, and row-level security policies to protect your data. The Service may cache data locally on your device for offline functionality; this data is encrypted and synced when connectivity is restored.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

  • Access, correct, or delete your personal information
  • Export your data in a portable format
  • Opt out of marketing communications
  • Restrict or object to certain processing of your data
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. Building listing data (including photos and traffic data) is retained for the duration of the listing. Mockup images are retained until you delete them. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal information within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

10. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child, we will delete it promptly.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
